Google Adsense is a surprisingly simple and effective way to earn money just from having your own website. In effect, you lease space on your website to Google and allow them to place ads for related goods and services on it. Google selects the ads it places based on keywords related to your own site, but you are allowed to place restrictions on the types of ads that appear. Ads can be text, images, or a combination of both. You earn money every time someone clicks through to one of the Adsense sites from yours.
Adsense won’t make you millions, but it can make a significant contribution to offsetting your development costs with no effort needed on your part.
