Brief
FMA is Newcastle-based digital marketing agency. We originally partnered with them to build a number of websites for their clients. However, as the relationship progressed they asked us if we could work more closely with them in future.
What we did
After looking at the client’s planned work for the rest of the year we agreed to take over from their internal web development team completely. This meant them having one of our dedicated developers working for them full time from a remote location.
Outcome
With the Dedicated Developer service the client is in complete control of the work he or she does on a day-to-day basis. The client pays a fixed monthly fee for this service and can make significant savings compared with paying fixed fees for one-off website projects. Having the developer on their team also means they can immediately allocate him or her to a project if any urgent issues arise. For FMA this also means they no longer need to have an in-house web developer which is a significant saving for them. They no longer have to worry about salary/PAYE/NI/pension costs and now have much more flexibility in their web team.
